Boddhi and I got out last week for a day at Cameron Park. We went on a small hike, had a picnic, and then I laid on a blanket while he played. He played by himself for hours and then some boys his age showed up, so he got to play tag.
He is the sweetest (although extremely active and headstrong) four-year-old. He is always ready to help me, bringing me snacks from the kitchen, hugging me and telling me how much he loves me. He is so excited about being a big brother (he wants to name the baby Arthur -- the pig from Kipper).
It was fun to get my big camera out again (the last pictures on it were of the last snow!). Boddhi is still my favorite subject even though he is more aware that he is being photographed, so sometimes I get a big cheesy smile.
This is the last week of school for Mike, and Dude has one more week. Then summer begins. We have plans to do some projects around the house, travel and see family, and just enjoy the long stretch of time we will have together.
I hope you all have a wonderful start to your summer :) I can’t wait.
